As a British traveler hailing from the charming state of Kent, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Old Sawmill, nestled in the picturesque Kent countryside. the luxurious converted barns provided a comfortable retreat, with well-equipped bedrooms and a cozy ambiance perfect for unwinding. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with the Eurostar terminal in Ashford just a stone's throw away, offering easy access to Paris, Lille, and Brussels - a dream for a travel enthusiast like me. Not to mention, the town's designer shopping outlet right opposite the terminal provided a delightful shopping experience. The hosts at the Old Sawmill were exceptionally welcoming, providing a thoughtful parcel of supplies upon our arrival, including bread, milk, and jam. the complimentary WiFi and well-equipped amenities, such as a dining area and lounge with a TV and DVD player, ensured a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Exploring the nearby historic cathedral city of Canterbury, just 11 miles away, added a touch of culture to our trip. And the scenic walks through the Kent countryside, spotting deer and sheep, offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, the Old Sawmill exceeded my expectations with its stunning location, gracious hosts, and cozy accommodations. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking tranquility or a family looking for a memorable getaway, this hidden gem in Kent is sure to leave a lasting impression. Don't miss the chance to experience the beauty and charm of the Old Sawmill during your next stay in the enchanting Kent countryside.
